Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of otlta, operated by Jodi Anoorabh LLP, an Indian limited liability partnership. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you're agreeing on behalf of your employer, you confirm you have the authority to do so.

1. The service

otlta is a wiki, project board, and AI assistant for software teams. We host the service at app.otlta.com. We aim for 99.5% monthly uptime; we don't credit downtime against your bill yet — that comes with our enterprise tier.

2. Plans and billing

Free, Team (₹399/seat/month), and Business (₹999/seat/month). Annual is 17% off (2 months free). Charged via Razorpay in INR. See our Refund Policy and Cancellation Policy. International payment support is coming; we'll update these terms when it launches.

Seat counts include every member except those with the Billing-only role (which exists specifically so finance teams can manage invoices without occupying a paid seat).

3. AI usage

AI features are subject to fair-use limits. Each plan includes a monthly AI allowance that is pooled across your whole organization (it scales with your seat count and is shared by all members), rather than a fixed per-person quota. Free runs on a smaller model; Team and Business run on the standard model, and Business adds the Risk Radar and Doc Hygiene scheduled scans. The allowance is generous for normal team usage; the in-app banner shows your organization's current usage at any time.

If your organization hits its daily AI limit, Team and Business fall back to a lighter model for the rest of the day. Once the monthly pooled allowance is exhausted, AI pauses until it resets. We reserve the right to apply reasonable per-user rate limits to prevent abuse.

We don't train on your data. AI requests go through our internal gateway to a managed model endpoint; no content is retained outside the request lifecycle.

4. Your data

You own everything you put into otlta. We store it on your behalf, encrypted, in Supabase Postgres with row-level security. You can download any wiki page as Markdown from its menu; for a full workspace export, contact us and we'll provide it.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use otlta to host illegal content, run automated scrapers against the API, or attempt to circumvent the rate limits. Don't share account credentials — invite teammates as members instead. We can suspend accounts that abuse the service, with notice except in cases where the abuse is ongoing.

6. Termination

You can cancel any time from Settings → Billing. On cancel, you drop to the Free plan and keep access to your data. If you delete your organization, it's removed from the product immediately; residual copies clear from our backups within 30 days.

7. Liability

otlta is provided "as is." Our total liability to you is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages. None of this affects rights you have under Indian consumer protection law.

8. Changes

If we make a meaningful change to these terms, we'll email account owners 30 days before it takes effect.
