FAQs
Common questions.
Why is the Free tier capped at three seats? +
Three is enough to genuinely try otlta with a couple of teammates. Past three, you're a real team — that's the inflection where the Team plan makes sense. We'd rather make Free actually useful than offer a 14-day trial that times out before you've imported your wiki.
How does AI usage work? +
Your plan includes a generous AI allowance that's pooled across your whole organization — light and heavy users share one budget, so it stretches. We don't claim "unlimited" because nobody actually offers that, but for normal team usage you won't bump into it. The in-app banner shows where you stand. If you hit the daily limit, Team and Business keep working on a lighter model for the rest of the day; once the monthly pooled allowance is spent, AI pauses until it resets.
Are you SOC 2 compliant? +
Not yet. We're early-stage and building toward it. Right now your data lives in Supabase Postgres with row-level security and is only ever accessed via our Cloudflare Worker. SOC 2 Type 1 is on the roadmap before we accept enterprise customers.
Can I migrate from Notion / Linear / Jira? +
Markdown import for wiki is on the next-quarter roadmap. Task imports from Jira (CSV) and Linear (their export format) come after. If you want to move 50+ pages and a backlog now, email us and we'll do a one-time import for free.
What happens if I cancel? +
You keep access to your data on the Free plan (3 seats, 1 workspace) — over-limit workspaces just can't add new members. Each wiki page downloads as Markdown from its menu; for a full workspace export, email us and we'll pull it for you.
